About the hotel

Established in 1882, the 4-star Fowey Hotel is a haven of tranquillity resting on the bank of the Fowey River Estuary. Each of the thirty-seven bedrooms has been individually furnished with an emphasis on comfort and style.

The Fowey Hotel majestically watches over the lazy yachts and quaint fishing boats as they creep in and out of the mouth of the river. In 1997 The Fowey Hotel was awarded 2 coveted AA Rosettes for its cuisine and service and has continued to maintain this standard with pride ever since. It is the perfect base from which to visit the spectacular Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the China Clay museum and many of Cornwall's best attractions.

With superb views of the Fowey River Estuary, the hotel restaurant has proudly held 2 aa Rosettes since 1997. Dress Code: Collar and tie is required in the restaurant.

Directions

Hotel Map

On entering Fowey, continue on the main road leading into the town. The road will bear to the right (signposted Fowey Hall, Hotel and Restaurant). Do not take this road but indicate left and take the road down into the town, then take the next right (signposted Fowey Hotel). Continue along this road for approx 200 yards. The road will bear to the right, and you need to take the driveway on the left (sign posted The Fowey Hotel Reception). Pull up to the entrance of the hotel unless you see your reserved parking space. (Advance parking to be booked prior to arrival at a charge of 7.50 GBP per night.)
